Position: Tenure-track Professor Position for a Scientist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology

Job Description: Shanghai Institute of Digestive Disease at Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao-Tong University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a tenure-track, professor position and scientist. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop a highly successful independent research program and obtain peer-reviewed funding. Research areas of interest include gastroenterology and hepatology. Exceptional candidates in all areas of carcinogenesis and immunology, will be given serious consideration. Prospective candidates who wish to pursue translational research efforts are strongly encouraged to apply. 上海市消化疾病研究所、上海交通大学医学院附属仁济医院消化科是首批和第2-3批国家教育部重点学科、“211工程”重点学科、上海市重点学科和上海市教委重点学科和上海市消化内科临床医学中心、上海市消化内科临床质控硕博人才招聘中心。2010年底，又以卫生部评审全国第一名的成绩进入“国家临床重点专科（消化内科）”和以参评单位中第二名的成绩进入国家临床重点专科（卫生部重点实验室）建设行列。
