The College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China, is seeking outstanding candidates to fill several full-time, open-rank positions starting from September 2026. Applications and nominations are now invited in the following areas:

01、Qualified candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree, or near completed Ph.D. degree (completed no later than August 2026), in related fields from an AACSB accredited institutions or other prestigious universities. Successful applicants should have an outstanding research record or demonstrated potential to excel in scholarly research, teaching and service. For senior positions (Associate and Full Professors), a strong record of published research in top-tier management journals and a demonstrated strong teaching record is required.

02、The ideal candidates should have evidence or promise of a strong and innovative program of research in relevant areas, commensurate with career stage. Demonstrated interests in areas consistent with the College’s initiatives and that complement our faculty’s research portfolio will be viewed as a plus. We also expect ideal candidates to demonstrate a strong and continuing commitment to research, teaching and collegiality, including interests and capabilities to contribute to the College’s active involvement with local government, regional industry partners, and entrepreneurial community.

03、The College provides a highly competitive compensation packing, including salary, research funds, housing allowances and other fringe benefits. In acknowledgement of research efforts, we also offer an excellent infrastructure including support staff, internal and external funding opportunities, domestic and international conference travel scheme, and two fully equipped laboratories for computer simulation and behavioral research (e.g., group experiments and cognitive experiments). The College of Business at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) is among the top management schools in China. The Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behavior faculty support three undergraduate option areas and several robust postgraduate and PhD programs within the College, including the MBA and EMBA programs geared toward working professionals. Through internal and external collaboration, our faculty members have published in leading international journals in management such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, Organization Science, and Journal of International Business Studies.
