ResearchGroup:Materials Chemistry and Chemical Metallurgy

School of Metallurgy (Northeastern University)invites applicationsfor two academic positions at AssistantorAssociate Professor level. The successful candidates will join a newly established research groupled by Prof. Ali Kamali. The research of the groupfallsunder the disciplines of Materials Chemistry and Chemical Metallurgy, and mainly focuses onon Greentechnologiesfor thepreparationofadvanced materials includingcarbon nanostructures, composites and metallc/intermetallic materials forvariousapplications, such asenergystorage and conversion. The grouphas aclose collaboration withseveral universities worldwide.

Applicants must have aPh.Dinmaterials science,chemistry or related disciplineswithexperiencewithin one ormore areasspecified below (but not necessarily in all):New materials for electrochemical systems including batteries and supercapacitors, carbon nanomaterials,molten salts, combustion synthesis andmaterials chemistry.
