Our group is interested in using various nanomaterials as building blocks for constructing novel functional structures, either through chemical synthesis or self-assembly. We focus on developing strategies which will allow precise control over the property and functionality of the produced structures. Specific topics include 
1. Shape-controlled synthesis of nanoparticles
2. Functionalization of nanoparticle via surface modification
3. Preparation of graphene-based nanostructures via interfacial assembly
4. Self-assembly of nanomaterials at liquid-liquid and air-liquid interfaces

Responsibilities
a.Purchasing 
⋅ Discussion with vendors, getting quotations 
⋅ Processing of purchase through e-gate system 
⋅ Management of receipts and other purchase related documents 
b.Accounting 
⋅ Keeping track of usage of research funds 
⋅ Regular report on budget status 
c.Translation of business related correspondence 
⋅ Provide translation from Chinese to English of emails, documents, etc. (limited to correspondence from outside of ShaghaiTech University) 
d.Assistance in grant application 
⋅ Assistance in filling in the administrative information portion of the grant application form 
e.Business trip arrangement 
⋅ Reservation of transportation and accommodation ⋅ E-gate processing of travel related expenses 
f.Assistance for visiting international researchers (visiting student and faculty, postdoctoral researcher, and research professor) 
⋅ Arrangement of transportation and accommodation for the visit of international researchers 

Qualifications
a.Majored in Chemistry,Material Science or related fields
b.Fluent in oral and written English
c.Good practical and learning ability
d.Strong interpersonal skills and good at communication and collaboration
