The School of Economics and the Institute for Advanced Research at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics invite applications for a number of tenure-track faculty positions and tenure-track/special-term Research Fellow positions in the coming year, to further advance the current group of about 60 full-time members hired in the last thirteen years from renowned overseas universities and build up a top team in China. Ranks and fields for faculty positions are open. We are especially inviting applications from eminent professors worldwide to fill 5-8 senior faculty positions in the next few years. The Research Fellow will be associated with the Institute for Advanced Research and conduct China's macro economic analysis and forecasts.

Compensation package includes competitive salary, research funds, housing allowances, plus standard fringe benefits. For distinguished professors, we offer highly competitive compensation above market level. Appointees are expected to engage in active research and must possess Ph.D. by July 2019. Candidates with great potential or well-established credentials will be considered. We will conduct interview at AEA annual meeting in Atlanta.
