We invite applications for a full-time research associate position in an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and intellectually stimulating academic setting in NYC. Our growing team is seeking a team member to work on software development and debugging of brain imaging pipelines, as well as to assist with data analyses. We use cutting-edge analytic methods, including functional and structural neuroimaging, for our work. We seek a highly motivated, naturally inquisitive and driven candidate with a strong technical background and code-writing skills who is interested to work in a fast-paced academic research environment in the neurosciences. You will be mentored regularly in a supportive environment and will have opportunities to work on independent projects and submit work to conferences. This position is located full-time in New York City, and requires that you are available on some weekends and evenings. This is a 1-year position, renewable for additional years

contingent on performance. The salary will be according to the NIH payscale but is negotiable. We invite applicants with an OPT. This position is available immediately and our review of candidates will continue until the position is filled.

MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, potentially with industry experience, or PhD in a related discipline. Strong problem solving and software development skills, willingness to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team, and ability to efficiently multi-task to achieve scientific goals. We require proven proficiency translating logic into code, writing scripts and testing software / APIs in at least two languages/libraries: Python, C++, MATLAB, and experience working on different systems (Windows, Macintosh, Ubuntu/Linux). This is not a remote position. This position is available for applicants with a valid work authorization status in the US, including OPT. Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM fields. Experience with neuroimaging tools and packages (FreeSurfer, SPM, FSL, AFNI) is preferred, but not required.
